Now that you’ve seen the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, it’s time to check out a device that’s even more suited for mobile photographs. This Xiaomi modular smartphone concept features a LaserLink pogo connector that enables users to easily attach and detach the Modular Optical System lens.
Since the Modular Optical System doesn’t require a dedicated power source, users don’t need to pair the lens, as it draws what it needs directly from the smartphone. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability should it go into production, but those at Mobile World Congress 2025 can get some hands-on time at the Xiaomi booth, or more specifically Hall 3 Stand 3M30, 3O58MR, and 3O60MR.
