Xiaomi Watch H1 is now available in China and one of the first smartwatches to feature a ‘Wrist ECG and Blood Pressure Recorder’. How does the latter work? A micro pump inflates around the wearer’s wrist similar to a standard blood pressure cuff, with just a ±3mmHg variance between the smartwatch and a machine that the doctor’s office would use.
Other features include NFC capabilities, the XiaoAi digital assistant, Bluetooth calling, over 100 sports / exercise modes, and IP68 dust / water resistance. On a full charge, you can expect up to 9-days of continuous use. It’s available now in China, priced from around $273 USD. There’s no word yet on a global launch, but it should arrive in Europe and other regions soon.
