Say goodbye to long charging times, and hello to this modified Xiaomi Note 12 Pro+ Discovery Edition smartphone. It’s capable of 300W extreme charging and can fully power the device up in just 5-minutes, thanks to dual GaN (gallium nitride) technology, after hitting a peak of 290W during the process.
The non-modified version of the Xiaomi Note 12 Pro+ Discovery Edition features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Mediatek MT6877V Dimensity processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a triple rear camera array (200MP Wide + 8MP Ultra-Wide + 2MP Macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,300mAh battery. It’s available now in China and some parts of Europe, priced at around $401USD. There’s no word yet on if Xiaomi will release the 300W extreme charging version in the near future.
