
Sony’s metal “Xperia Touch” box may not look special, but underneath, you’ll find an LCoS laser projector with auto focus. These parts are used to turn just about any flat surface into a 23-inch display, complete with 10-point multitouch, running Android. It also boasts a proximity sensor, which can be set to automatically turn on the device when someone nears. Plus, it features a 13-megapixel camera, two-way stereo speakers, USB-C, HDMI Type-D, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity. At the heart of it all is a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 650 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. One caveat: it’s set to retail at $1,588.
