At first glance, whether up-close or from afar, this really does appear to be Steve Jobs, but as you step closer, you’ll see that it’s just an intricate wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Continue reading for a video, more pictures, and additional information.

The figure cost HK$1,500,000 (about US$193,400) to create and a dedicated team of sculptors and hair and color artists have worked for three months to achieve the amazingly accurate likeness. The figure will remain at Hong Kong until 26th November 2012, before traveling on to Bangkok and then Shanghai. We have been informed that there is no plan to present the figure in the west.
