There’s AI-tuned laptops, and then the Yungai REV-9, the world’s first laptop equipped with an AMD EPYC 7713 or 9554 64-core processor. Measuring 420 x 325 x 46 mm (including power supply), this behemoth sports either a 17.3-inch 2.5K display with a 240HZ refresh rate and 100% sRGB high color gamut or a 4K 120Hz screen.
Aside from the AMD EPYC 64-core CPU, it comes equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 4080 16GB desktop-level graphics card, three Ethernet ports, and three USB type-A ports. This looks to be a China-exclusive laptop that is set to launch on December 19, but Zhanjiang Core Energy Technology has not yet released official pricing. However, the AMD EPYC 7713 retails for $7,060 USD, so we expect this laptop to start at around $8,000+.
