We expect all handhelds, like the Nintendo Switch, will eventually merge with gaming PCs, but until that happens, you can expect devices like the ZOTAC Zone. This handheld gaming PC measures in at a svelte 12.2″ x 4.9″ x 1.6″ and weighs in at around 1.5 pounds.
Hardware wise, the ZOTAC Zone is very similar to its competitors, with a vibrant 7″ FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor, Radeon 780M integrated graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5-7500 memory, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, two USB4 Type-C ports, a microSD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, and a 48.5 Wh battery. It’s expected to ship Q3 2024, but pricing has not yet been revealed.
