Priced from $70,575 in the UK, the 2019 BMW M2 Competition is powered by a modified variant of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine sourced from the M3 / M4 that generates 405 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0-60 mph in a mere 4-seconds. Other upgrades include: a sleek black chrome exhaust system, 19″ alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, special trim, racing seatbelts, sill plates, red push-button starter, new sport seats and matching steering wheel. “Because of this serious boost in power, the chassis got an upgrade, too. Aluminum-intensive front and rear axles and a carbon fiber strut brace were borrowed from the bigger and faster M3 and M4 models to aid the M2’s control. Enlarged air inlets and the full-length kidney grill bearing the M2 boldly brand the nose. Bigger brakes were added, too, which makes sense.
