2020 Polaris Slingshot
Think of the 2020 Polaris Slingshot as a supercar, but in go kart form, all street-legal and ready to tear up the roads as well as track. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine that was machined in Germany alongside Mercedes-AMG V8 hardware. The entry level model has 180 hp and 120 lb-ft of torque sent through the single rear wheel, while the Slingshot R boasts 203 hp and 144 lb-ft of torque. At launch, buyers will only be able to choose from a manual transmission or an automated manual that shifts on its. Inside, you get revamped seats, steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system complete. Pricing for the 2020 Polaris Slingshot SL with the automatic transmission starts at $26,499 while the Slingshot R is available from $30,999 or $32,699 with the auto.
