Finally, after numerous leaks, the refreshed 2025 Tesla Model Y has been officially launched in China, as well as a few other regions, with the base RWD model starting at $35,934 USD and the LR AWD variant priced from $41,389. Those who place an order by February 28th qualify for the ‘Launch Series’ edition, and deliveries are expected to begin in March.
The RWD model boasts a 62.5 kWh battery pack with a CLTC range of 593 kilometers (368 miles) on a full charge, while the LR AWD has a 78.4 kWh pack with a CLTC range of 719 kilometers (447 miles). Just how quick is the new Model Y? Expect a 4.3 second 0-62 mph sprint for the LR AWD and 5.9 seconds for the RWD. Inside, there is now a small screen for the rear passengers. Getting it in grey will not cost any extra, but white ($1,091), blue ($1,091), red ($1,636) and silver ($1,636) all cost extra.
