Cody Detwiler of WhistlinDiesel has been known for some crazy stunts like going off-roading in an Ferrari F8, and his latest on a Tesla Model 3 is definitely not exception. Put simply, he installed 10-foot-tall wheels and performed a few tests, which ranged from normal driving, going upside down, and even attempting to go downhill.
Let’s just say that once installed, the Tesla Model 3 has such high ground clearance that even a Ferrari can drive underneath safely. Driving normally didn’t take too much skill, but flipping it upside down required a CAT excavator and a strapped in Cody to ensure that he was able to somewhat safely steer the vehicle. One caveat: it had to be driven in reverse to move forward. Lastly, the vehicle made a treacherous downhill journey.
