343 Industries Halo Infinite Virtual Reality Project Reverie

Codenamed Reverie, this ‘Halo Infinite Virtual Reality Project’ was canceled by 343 Industries back in 2017 due to the challenges with the format as well as the limited number of users at that time. With that said, 343 Industries still did interview a few companies that all had an ‘extreme amount of promise’.

Since 343 Industries never released any official footage, we have to settle for a little over 30-seconds of gameplay that was created by a Halo MCC engineer. Unfortunately, you won’t see any top secret VR hardware either, just a basic Oculus Touch controller being used to play what appears to be a modded version of Halo: Reach. As for us, we’ll stick with VR flight simulator setups.
