3D Printer Tattoo Machine Mod
Turning a 3D printer into a functional tattoo machine is kind of crazy, but actually works, and Emily the Engineer proves it. This mod isn’t for everyone, as it requires editing firmware to bypass safety checks, and modifying hardware for smooth transitions.

The most significant upgrade would have to be the emergency solenoid system, which can basically stop the machine mid-tattoo in case of an emergency or should something go wrong. Let’s just say that if you were try attempt this mod, be sure to start by using markers, pens, or even a Sharpie, before moving onto actual needles.

3D Printer Tattoo Machine Mod

Emily, unironically add a probe for the auto bed-leveling feature and ‘level’ the “bed” with it! It’ll create a 3D map of the skin and compensate for the curvedness. This should get a much better tattoo result since the needle depth will be consistent. Maybe you can make a follow-up video where you improve the machine?!,” said one commenter.
