Though not quite as expensive as Caviar’s iPhone 14 Pro Daytona, iDesign Gold’s batch of thirty five custom 24K gold iPhone 14 Pro smartphones did cost Lionel Messi more than $210,000 USD. Each one of these handsets was engraved with the player’s names and numbers, complete with the Argentina national football team logo.
Aside from the 24K gold plating, the iPhone 14 Pro itself appears to be factory spec, which has a 6.1-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED screen, 6GB of RAM, up to 1TB of NVMe storage, a triple rear camera array (48MP Wide + 12MP Telephoto + 12MP Ultra-Wide), a 12MP selfie camera, and a 3,200mAh battery. There’s no word yet if iDesign Gold will offer a similar custom unit to the public.
