LG’s StanbyME briefcase monitor is great when traveling, while the NexMonitor can be used to wirelessly charge a smartphone at eye-level. This 27-inch monitor, available in 2.5K (100Hz refresh rate) and 4K (60Hz refresh rate) resolutions, features 300 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 4ms response time (GtG), and an ultra narrow bezel on all sides.
It supports HDMI, DisplayPort and USB 3.1 Type-C, so there are several ways to connect this monitor to your computer. The magnetic area on the right side can be used to securely attach a smartphone for wireless charging and then you can also mirror the screen via DeX or other software to use it as a second display – requires an Android smartphone with ‘desktop mode’. Available for pre-order now, priced from $399, with shipments expected to begin in Q4 2023.
