Google’s upcoming 6.17″ Pixel 8 and 6.7″ Pixel 8 Pro smartphones were teased in a leaked promo video, both of which are set to be officially unveiled on October 4. It starts off by previewing a new Video Boost feature, which utilizes artificial intelligence to create a smoother view while also seamlessly integrating Night Sight’s effects to recorded footage.
Pricing is expected to start at $599 and $899 respectively, both of which boast a camera module that stretches horizontally across the device. Other rumored features include Google’s Tensor G3 chipset, 8GB / 12GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, up to a 64MP main rear camera on the Pixel 8 Pro, and up to a 4,950mAh battery good for all-day use. Both handsets are expected to launch with Android 14,as the software is already in beta.
