Priced from approximately $233,398 USD, the 2024 BYD Yangwang U9 electric hypercar wants to take on Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche with its quad electric motor setup. These four independent electric motors generate 1,287 hp and 1,239 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in just 2.36 seconds.
Unlike other hypercars, the U9 features BYD’s DiSus-X Intelligent Body Control System, which enables it to achieve the maximum adjustable suspension travel of up to 75mm, while offering a peak single-axis lifting speed of up to 500mm/s. Technology wise, it features the DiLink150 intelligent platform, powered by customized 4nm 5G chips.
