OpenAI’s Sora just got a new competitor…Kuaishou’s KLING AI. Users of the KwaiYing (KwaiCut) app with Chinese phone numbers have been beta testing this tool and the results are incredible to say the least.
The tool can generate up to two minutes of video at 1080p resolution from just text prompts. Whether it be photo-realistic humans eating food, a cat driving a car through a busy downtown street, a guitar-playing giant panda, or a LEGO minifigure walking through an art museum, the results will definitely surprise most. There’s no word yet on if KLING AI will eventually be released stateside or other regions of the world.
