When you think of Apple Store locations, the Great Pyramid of Giza probably doesn’t come to mind, but with the right prompt, Midjourney AI can give us an idea of what it could look like. Designer Shail Patel had to carefully think of prompts to feed the Stable Diffusion-based artificial intelligence program in various locations around the world including Egypt and New York City.
What else can Midjourney be used for? Well, it was used to create the images in an AI-generated children’s book over a single weekend, titled Alice and Sparkle. For those interested, it features a young girl who builds a robot that becomes self-aware. Its creator, Ammaar Reeshi, spent hours modifying text prompts and rejecting hundreds of generated results during the process to ultimately narrowing the selection down to 13 illustrations for the book.
