E3 2000 Halo Combat Evolved Build Third-Person Download
Remember the Halo: Combat Evolved prototype that debuted at E3 2000? The one that Bungie made specifically to showcase the power of NVIDIA’s GeForce 2 GTS graphics card using the E3 engine? Well, you can now download the build and try it out yourself.

Now you may be wondering why this is significant, and the answer to that is that Bungie actually began the development of what would eventually become Halo in 1997. The initial idea was a real-time strategy game, but it eventually morphed into a third-person shooter before becoming a first-person shooter. If you want to try it out, download it here, or at least for the time being.

The fact that I just played on this map because of project digsite brings joy to my heart I have waited years for this day and I finally got to walk around on this level geometry! It may not have everything shown here but just stepping foot on it and exploring it for the first time with a plethora of cut content is absolutely insane!,” said one commenter.
