Think of the Dacia Manifesto concept as a mini electric Halo Warthog designed to go off-road. The company touts it as a very compact and completely open SUV that puts you in direct contact with nature, complete with a a detachable battery pack with bidirectional charging. Plus, you can remove the headlight and use it as a flashlight torch.
Step inside, and you’ll find a smartphone-based infotainment system rather than a large touchscreen, along with seat covers that double as sleeping bags. Get a little too dirty going off-road? You can simply hose down the interior, as it’s completely washable. All of the exterior body panels are made from recycled plastics, while the interior has a dashboard made of actual cork. Flats are a thing of the past, or at least for the Manifesto, since it comes equipped with airless tires. There’s no word yet on if we’ll get a production model.
