COBOD BOD2 3D-Printed Social Housing Project
COBOD’s BOD2 3D construction printer was used to complete the first 3D-printed social housing project in just 132 days. Located in Dublin, Ireland, ‘Grange Close’ is a three-unit terraced social housing project with a total floor space of 330 m2 (3,552 ft2), consisting of 3 apartments spanning 110 m2 (1,184 ft2) each.

As mentioned previously, the entire project was completed in just 132 working days, including the initial site preparation to the handover of keys. When compared to the 203 days typically required for traditional construction methods, this represents a 35% reduction in build time, with approximately 50% of the time savings coming directly from 3D printing the wall system alone.
