Available in Passenger, Cargo configurations from launch, the Kia PV5 is the automaker’s first modular electric van. All trims will be built on Kia’s leading-edge ‘E-GMP.S’ platform, a dedicated battery-electric skateboard architecture that enables flexible combinations of various vehicle bodies.
The PV5 Passenger boasts a three-row seat configuration, which can be optimized for luggage . camping scenarios or even ride-hailing use cases. Want to use it as a cargo van? Choose the PV5 Cargo, a configuration that offers up to 5.1 m³ of capacity, with standard, long, and high-roof versions available, while an optional L-track mounting system provides extreme flexibility. Last, but not least, the PV5 Chassis Cab comes from the factory as an unfinished vehicle, with a shared cabin, which utilizes the front section of the PV5 Cargo. This means it can support several conversion configurations, like Drop Side and Freezer Box. It goes on sale in Europe and South Korea late this year, with pricing yet to be announced.
