Underground Racing’s Lamborghini Huracan Performante just might be the fastest one yet, thanks to a twin-turbocharged 5.2L V10 that generates an eye-watering 3000 horsepower – for comparison, the stock engine produces 631 hp at 8,000 rpm and 443 lb⋅ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. In just a simple shakedown test for a half-mile event in Colorado, it managed to hit 234 mph without running in ultimate attack mode.
Once they arrived at the event, Underground Racing turned the car’s boost all the way, and it easily managed to hit the 250 mph mark on three separate runs. Each run all took just half a mile from a standing start, thus leading us to believe that it would shatter that top speed if there was just more room.
