For the 2020 model year, the Dodge Charger Hellcat comes standard with the “widebody” to accommodate an improved tire/suspension package. In factory form, it comes equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine making 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. However, Hennessey Performance decided to offer a performance package that increases output to 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft of torque.
Some of the upgrades include a 2.65L supercharger system, a high-flow air induction system, stainless steel long tube headers, a high-flow supercharger bypass valve, upgraded high-flow fuel injectors, HPE engine management, and chassis dyno calibration. All of this means that it can now hit 60 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds and blaze through the quarter-mile in just 9.9 seconds at 141 mph.
