Alo Smartphone

French designer Philippe Starck and peer Jerome Olivet unveil Alo, a smartphone with no screen, but instead utilizes holograms, voice control and haptic feedback. Its always-on camera would track the user’s face to aid with 3D hologram displays. The handset incorporates a molded aluminum alloy core covered by a translucent, gelatinous exterior layer provides vibration, heat-based feedback, as well as auto-healing properties in case of scratches.
