Designed by Alex Imnadze, the BMW M1 Shark draws inspiration from the Peugeot Onyx, the Vision Next 100 (video above), the cloth-bodied Gina concept and even Bertone’s classic Stratos Zero prototype from the 1970’s.

On the technical side, it features a front wheel-mounted AI computer, a chassis made from layered smart rubber covered in a hybrid surface skin, and a mid rear-mounted engine. Now the only thing missing is a high-end self driving system that would let you enjoy a movie or even snooze during long road trips. However, that may be asking too much for a vehicle that looks as sporty as the BMW M1 Shark.
