In a scene ruled by European heavyweights like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche, a new player from California, Oilstainlab, is taking things to the next level with the HF-11. This mid-engined hypercar blends the Porsche 911’s sleekness with the Aston Martin Valkyrie’s race car flair.
Their goal? To build an American hypercar that doesn’t just keep up but sets a new standard. Its carbon fiber core keeps the gas-powered version crazy light at just 2,000 pounds (910 kg), making it nimble enough to carve up corners and blast down straightaways. “We wanted a car that feels raw and connected, like it’s an extension of the driver,” an Oilstainlab rep said.

If you love the roar of a gas engine, you’ve got two flat-six choices: a 4.6-liter pumping out 600 horsepower or a beastly 5.0-liter cranking up to 1,200 horsepower at a wild 12,000 rpm. These engines sit right behind the driver, sending power to the rear wheels with a ferocity that matches Europe’s fiercest hypercars. The 5.0-liter is a straight-up monster, with Oilstainlab saying it’s “built to redefine what a naturally aspirated engine can do.”


For the EV crowd, the HF-11’s electric version is just as quick, with whispers of power that could hit or beat the gas model’s top output of 850 hp, though details are still hush-hush.



Inside, the HF-11 keeps it simple, with the cockpit, built around that carbon fiber frame, putting the driver first with digital screens, lightweight seats, and just enough comfort. Oilstainlab’s teasing a custom interior program, letting buyers pick materials and finishes to make it their own. “Every HF-11 is a piece of its owner,” they said, hinting at personalization that could give Bentley’s Mulliner a run for its money.


At $2.3 million for the gas version, the HF-11 isn’t pocket change, but it’s a steal compared to many European hypercars with similar or less performance. The electric model’s price is still under wraps, but expect it to be in the same ballpark. Oilstainlab’s big hurdle? Convincing buyers to bet on a new name in a world full of iconic brands.
