Apple iOS 15 iPhone iPad Update Features Review
Apple has just released iOS 15 for the iPhone and iPad, with several new features, including a FaceTime update that provides more natural video calls, Focus to help reduce distraction, Live Text using on-device intelligence to surface useful information, as well as a Maps upgrade for new ways to navigate the world. Updated FaceTime audio and video features make calls feel more natural, thanks to spatial audio that makes a user sound like they’re coming from the direction positioned on the screen. Focus is one of the completely new features in iOS 15, and it’s an innovative way to help users reduce distraction by filtering notifications based on a user’s focal point at that moment. Examples would be setting Work Focus during working hours to only allow notifications from coworkers and apps that are used for the job, while Personal Focus can be used when taking a break with friends and family. Notifications have also been revamped, adding contact photos for people and larger icons for apps that make them even easier to identify.
