Apple New Accessibility Features Control iPad Eyes
Apple’s new accessibility features include the ability to control an iPad or iPhone using just your eyes, powered by artificial intelligence. It’s designed for users with physical disabilities, as it uses the front-facing camera to set everything up in seconds.

Thanks to the power of on-device machine learning, all data used to set up and control this feature is kept securely on device, and isn’t shared with Apple. Eye Tracking is compatible across iPadOS and iOS apps, which means the feature doesn’t require additional hardware or accessories. This means users can navigate through the elements of an app and use Dwell Control to activate each element, while also accessing additional functions such as physical buttons, swipes, as well as other gestures solely with their eyes.
