Apple has officially confirmed their “Peak Performance” event on March 8, 2022 at 10:00 am PST, but will they reveal their long awaited VR / AR headset? The answer is probably not, but that didn’t stop one fan from showing us what he thinks the headset could look like. Put simply, the headset sports ultra-high-resolution 8K displays and advanced eye-tracking technology with a slim, curved visor that is worn around the head. The adjustable headband can be swapped out for other colors and material types, giving it Apple Watch band-like customization options. You’ll find a button up top and on the side of the headset, which will most likely function as on/off buttons. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the Apple VR headset will come equipped with 15 cameras for tracking and collecting biometric data, and eight of them would be deployed to project images onto the real world for augmented reality use cases.
