Apple Vision Pro Spatial Computer Mixed Reality Headset
It turns out the RealityOS trademark filed last year was just a decoy for the Apple Vision Pro, a spatial computer / mixed reality headset unveiled today at WWDC 2023. The device runs visionOS, an operating system that boasts a three-dimensional interface with an infinite canvas for apps. Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad support means users can set up their ideal workspace or bring Mac directly into Vision Pro wirelessly.

The two ultra-high-resolution micro-OLED displays sport 23 million pixels, enabling Vision Pro to transform any space into a personal movie theater with a screen that feels 100 feet wide, while an advanced Spatial Audio system recreates the cinema experience. Apple Immersive Video lets you enjoy 180-degree high-resolution recordings with Spatial Audio, great for virtual vacations. Hardware wise, it features the M2 and R1 chips, with the latter designed to process input from 12 cameras, 5 sensors and 6 microphones. Available early next year, priced from $3,499 USD.
