Aston Martin’s luxury division, Lagonda, hit the Geneva Motor Show in a big way. The sleek Lagonda Vision Concept is autonomous and all-electric, with the powertrain claiming a 400-mile range and capable of being fully charged in a mere 15-minutes. When in capable fully autonomous mode, the front seats rotate to face the rear occupants, while trick doors allow for ‘unprecedented’ ease of access, thanks to rear-hinged back doors and a roof section that flips back to allow passengers to stand up before exiting. “The batteries occupy the floor of the car. The electrification revolution means there is no longer any need for horse and carriage design,” said Aston Martin chief creative officer Marek Reichman.
