The ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 may have just been unveiled at CES 2022 today, but it already has a slogan: “two screens, zero boundaries.” Not only is this dual-screen laptop perfect for content-creation, but also gaming. How so? It has a ScreenPad Plus, which is essentially its 14.1-inch secondary display with a 4K option. Users can use this to either run their favorite apps while they game, making it a breeze to multitask.
It’s powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX Series processor, up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU, 32GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4×4 storage in RAID 0 configuration. To keep things cool, ASUS equipped it with thermal grizzly conductonaut extreme liquid metal, a material that increases thermal conductivity by 17-times. The main display (QHD, 4K or FHD) boasts a 16:10 aspect ratio, complete with ultra-thin bezels and 91% screen-to-body ratio, up to 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time or less, as well as 500 nits of peak brightness. Expect to see it hit shelves in Q1 2022, with pricing yet to be revealed.
