Sleek, stylish, yet functional, the Audi Q6 E-Tron Off-Road concept teases the company’s progressive off-road segment, starting with its ride height. An all-new suspension increases its right height by 160 mm (6.3 in), while a 250 mm (9.8 in) wider track contribute to its rugged appearance.

Traditional portal axles provide an increase in torque of around 20 to 30 percent at the wheels, but Audi’s new design manages to increase torque at the wheels by 50 percent. In turn, this lowers the vehicle’s top speed to 175 km/h (108 mph), which is more than fast enough for an off-road vehicle, while enabling it to climb gradients of up to 100%. These four portal axles were developed from scratch and are integrated into the wheel hub assemblies at the front / rear axles. You can see this vehicle in person on February 1, 2025, at the F.A.T. Ice Race in Austria.

The Q6 e-tron off-road concept is a reinterpretation of quattro. The model shows the potential that our platform for all electric vehicles already has today. This vehicle can claim new ground. We look forward to seeing our customers’ reactions to this highly emotive car,” said Gernot Döllner, Audi CEO.
