Now that you’ve seen the DeLorean Alpha5 EV, the DeLorean Omega 2040 concept previews what an all-electric, Baja off-road race car from the company would look like. It was made to celebrate mobility and driving, representing the next-generation of DeLorean’s design philosophy as a complete departure from traditional automotive design.
Since it’s still in prototype form, no interior pictures have been provided, but it does appear to have gullwing doors and possibly room for up to four passengers. Other features include body panels equipped with LED lights, cameras that replace the side windows, and a tire / wheel combo that appears to be fused into a single piece. There’s no word yet on if we’ll see a functional prototype in the near future.
