Project Dream’s Banjo-Kazooie remake in Unreal Engine 5 shows what the game could look like on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. The original game was released in 1998 on the N64, with the story beginning in a region called Spiral Mountain, where Banjo’s sister Tooty is kidnapped by Gruntilda the witch.
From what we can see, this remake includes several familiar areas such as Mumbo’s Mountain, Treasure Trove Cove, Clanker’s Cavern, Bubblegloop Swamp, Freezeezy Peak, Gobi’s Valley and Mad Monster Mansion. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when we can expect to see a public release.
