At $430 USD, Bigme’s HiBreak Pro ePaper smartphone aims to keep things simple, while still offering all of the modern features you’d expect in a modern device. It all starts with its ultra crisp 6.13-inch (824 x 1648) E-Ink (greyscale) screen with 300 ppi and a color adjustable front light.
The HiBreak Pro also features a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor with 2 x ARM Cortex-A78 @ 2.6 GHz as well as 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 @ 2 GHz, a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a rear 20MP camera, a front-facing 5MP camera, a USB Type-C port, and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Unlike standard E-readers, this device boasts Bigme’s ‘SSS-level’ refresh mode, which makes it faster, cleaner, and smoother when reading text. A release date has not yet been announced.
