BMW has unveiled its all-new 2002 Hommage, which pays tribute to the original 2002 Turbo from 1966. This updated model features an M tri-color front splitter, widebody fenders, snowflake wheels, and a ducktail spoiler on the outside. To keep the model’s heritage, the Bavarian automaker matched the carbon trims match to its carbon-fiber band at the beltline, while an icy blue matte finish rounds off the clean look. ” The body is much more squared at the front than the regular 2-Series and there’s a carbon fiber accent running the length of the body that’s designed to mimic the 2002’s chrome strip. The front and rear spoilers have some hints of BMW’s E21-chassis 3-Series race cars too,” reports Road and Track.
