The Boeing Starliner spacecraft with NASA astronauts Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita “Suni” Williams successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) approximately 26 hours after launching from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Not everything went smoothly, as Starliner missed its first docking chance at 12:15 p.m. EDT (1615 GMT), due to a reaction-control thruster malfunction. On the bright side, the crew completed a series of tests including manually flying Starliner for the first time in space on the way to the ISS.
