The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is a real concept car first unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and inspired by the Chiron’s design language. The livery the car is based on the 1937 Le Mans-winning Bugatti Type 57G Tank racer. We’re not sure of its current whereabouts, but the one example that exists is valued at a whopping $5,160,000 USD – $18,000,000 USD. Well, the mechanics over at Mechanic Jack’s decided to create a replica, and from the ground up.
They started with a tubular chassis before installing an engine and transmission. To replicate the body, they couldn’t start with a carbon fiber frame like its real-life counterpart due to the cost, so welding sheet metal together had to do, and as you can see, it was a viable alternative, aesthetically. It has a functional front / rear suspension as well as headlights, complete with daytime running lights.
