Custom 24K Gold Plated Tesla Cybertruck
Zack Nelson of Jerry Rig Everything might have just created the world’s first 24K gold plated Tesla Cybertruck, or at least one that isn’t just a basic wrap. That’s right, it will cost you at least $60,000 USD to acquire the 99.99% pure gold necessary for this mod.

Since this isn’t just a wrap or spray-on coating, applying the 24K gold required three stages. The first one was electro cleaning the stainless steel panels to make them hydrophilic, while the next step involved using acid to soften its surface to prep them for the initial layer of gold. Lastly, a titanium brush was used as a positive electrode and a magnetic negative copper electrode with a thin sheet of gold to start the plating process.
