Always wanted a portable Nintendo 64 console that accepts cartridges? If so, then look no further than eBay, or at least that’s what one gamer did. Unfortunately, it will cost you around $300 USD, but on the bright side, you’ll be able to take it just about anywhere. Featuring a 7-inch display, dual speakers, all original N64 controller parts, a built-in Expansion Pak, stereo speakers, and a custom machined case that includes a fan to keep everything cool inside.
Some of the downsides include a non-ergonomic case and strange button placement. Overall, just about every game that Jacob R. tried appeared to work perfectly, including the Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, which makes full use of the Expansion Pak for enhanced graphics. Have a stash of international market N64cartridges? They’ll play without any issues.
