Disney has officially joined the streaming business with the debut of its Disney+ service. The company hopes that its $6.99-per-month service will attract millions of subscribers with its mix of Marvel / Star Wars movies, TV shows, classic animated films, new series and lots more. The most highly anticipated original show is “The Mandalorian,” a live-action “Star Wars” series created by Jon Favreau. They’re offering a seven-day free trial or a free year with all Verizon Wireless unlimited plans and when customers switch to Verizon’s Fios Home Internet or 5G Home Internet. Other shows include a prequel to the “Star Wars” movie “Rogue One”, a show about Marvel character Loki, a rebooted “High School Musical” series, and even past seasons of “The Simpsons”.
