The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau released the first official trailer for the show today at the D23 Expo, and it’s set to debut exclusively on Disney+ on November 12th. This show takes place a few years”after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. It follows a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. Read more for the trailer and additional information.
Not only did Jon Favreau create the show, but he also served as a writer, showrunner and will executive produce alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. The show stars Pedro Pascal (Mandalorian), Gina Carano (Cara Dune), Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers (Greef Carga), Omid Abtahi (Dr. Pershing), and Werner Herzog. Eight episodes are planned for the first season.
