Scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 12, 2019, Star Wars: The Mandalorian takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a Mandalorian bounty hunter beyond the reaches of the New Republic. The main character is played by Pedro Pascal, who portrays Mandalorian, a lone gunfighter and bounty hunter with a Clint Eastwood-esque vibe as well as advanced combat skills and questionable moral character. This show will be exclusive to Disney+, a streaming service focused on film and television content from Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Television.
