DJI Avata FPV Drone
After numerous leaks, the DJI Avata FPV drone is now official. Weighing in at just 410g, it features a 1/1.7” CMOS sensor boasting 48 million effective pixels capable of shooting footage at 4K/60fps and 2.7K/50/60/100/120fps, complete with a flight time of up to 18 minutes on a single charge.

When paired with the included DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Motion Controller, it offers an immersive drone experience unlike any other. Not only can it hover like a typical drone, but also accelerate like a racing model, zoom in / out of narrow spaces, or stop on a dime. Plus, if it happens to lands upside down, the Avata’s Turtle mode allows it to flip right side up and take off again. Built-in propeller guards make the fuselage more durable and vastly reduces the probability of irreparable damage, enabling you to fly more confidently with a craft that can withstand minor collisions. Available for pre-order now, priced at $1388. More information here. Already ordered the DJI Avata? Here’s what a professionally shot single-shot FPV drone take looks like
