After the DJI Mini 3 Pro drone leaked last week, it was only a matter of time until the official announcement came, and that just happened today. Weighing less than 249-grams (0.54-pounds), this ultra lightweight drone packs plenty of features, including a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor capable of shooting 4K footage at 60FPS and HDR video at 30FPS, while taking 48-megapixel stills.
This is also the first Mini drone to boast DJI’s Tri-Directional Obstacle Sensing, which consisting of forward, backward, and downward visual sensors. The forward and downward sensors provide a wider field of view, which allows for better route planning as wellas environmental awareness. Plus, Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) 4.0 automatically detects and finds a safer path around obstacles during flight. Despite its size, it can still fly for 34-minutes on a full charge. Available for pre-order now at $699 USD, with the first shipments beginning in late May.
