DJI Zenmuse V1 Speaker Drone
DJI unveils the Zenmuse V1, their first drone-mounted speaker, and S1 spotlight for multi-payload platforms. The speaker can be on multi-rotor drones, like the Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK, with the ability to blast audio at up to 127 decibels (as loud as a jet takeoff) as well as broadcast clear sound up to 500 meters away.

Big megaphones or PA systems on the ground often have trouble with long distance, obstacles, or background noise.. The Zenmuse V1’s directional sound and noise cancellation features make sure messages come through loud and clear, perfect for messy situations. The speaker has different modes—like live recording, turning text into speech, or playing saved messages—so people using it can switch things up fast. For example, a rescue team can record a calming message for someone, use text-to-speech for quick updates, or repeat saved evacuation directions, all handled through the DJI Pilot 2 app.

DJI Zenmuse V1 Speaker Drone S1 Spotlight
The Zenmuse S1 is DJI’s first drone spotlight, made to light up dark or nighttime jobs like public safety, rescues, inspections, and other important tasks. It uses laser-excited phosphor (LEP) tech to shine a strong 35 lux at 100 meters, reaching up to 500 meters away. You can adjust the light’s spread from narrow (6°) to wider (15°) and pick from three settings—wide, narrow, or flashing—to fit different needs, like searching big areas or checking something specific.

DJI Zenmuse V1 Speaker Drone S1 Spotlight
It’s tough enough for rough weather or nighttime, with an IP55 rating to keep out dust and water. Like the Zenmuse V1, you control it with the DJI Pilot 2 app, where you can change the brightness, switch settings, or team it up with other drone gear (like cameras or the V1 speaker) to work together smoothly. Pricing and availability have not yet been revealed, though other DJI Zenmuse payloads like the L1 (LiDAR) and P1 (photogrammetry camera) have retailed in the range of $8,000 to $13,000.
