We know the Planck mini electric toothbrush can run DOOM, but what about Fortnite? Unreal Editor for Fortnite developer and gamer Jackson Clayton has managed to bring the classic id Software shooter to Epic’s open world battle royale game.
Despite how it looks, that is not actually DOOM running inside Fortnite, but rather something made in Ultimate Doom Builder. Put simply, E1M1 (Episode 1 Map 1) was exported as a 3D model, which Clayton then imported into Fortnite’s editor. What took the most time was trying to make it look “unlit and unfiltered,” while giving the space marine its familiar “choppy spinning effect.”
